Nice effects, certainly more chaotic than the original. Nice work I'd say, perhaps maybe some lighting adjustments, make the flame your light source and have the rest in darkness? Like a candle in the darkness kind of effect? Anyway, keep it up!

Well its all over contrasted and the effects spoil it ,youve added way to much ,would of tried to create a more even flow ,nice idea just needs more work kiu
