I think this is one of my very few large art pieces, and the first thing I've ever touched in illustrator.

I would like to say that, if you plan on just copying over a tutorial, you won't learn anything. If you really want to improve, then do something from scratch.

May I ask that you keep CL's drama away from here?  Go bad talk me on there, not on here.  And yes, I was asking for CnC.  Just because I followed a tutorial doesn't mean I did everything correctly.  As you can tell from CL, if you'd like to bring it up, they think the shadow is a little out of place.

 

Yes, I realize I followed a tutorial, but you have to start somewhere, right?  Helped me learn AI functions more then anything.

I don't really care if you used a tutorial or not, but at least have the common decency to let people know.

My bad.  I didn't realize that following a tutorial was some form of ripping anothers art.  Are you really going to hold this TINY mistake over my head?  Tippeds argument was completely fine, and I'm not mad that he said what he said.  However, your argument is just... no.  Don't give me grief, just because of tipped.  If I remember correctly, you were giving me feed back:

Only the shadow in the middle is a bit off and it looks like you turned "Dither" off, using the gradient.

Also you should make the text (handsign) white so it's more visible that you made it nonetheless, great job.

I appreciate that. I don't appreciate you bringing CL drama here though, and arguing over something as minuscule as this.
