Knox 31 Posted July 17, 2013 Just because you're going for surrealism doesn't mean you can ignore the basic's of art. There's no real focal here. You have 4 focals, the clouds, sun, text, and lightning. Also it doesn't make much sense and has no real purpose. Check out some of these LP's if you want to see what I mean. http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/197/4/8/home_sweet_home_by_leppakakaklifoth-d6dplbv.jpg http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs47/f/2009/165/7/0/one_with_nature_by_anthony_g.jpg http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/010/e/d/ed1b5fa98797059b653d244953417a45-d4lwrth.jpg
DaPinkOne 37 Posted July 17, 2013 firstly well done for trying and putting yourself out there if you dont try you wont learn second i would remove the text at the bottom and make it more subtle in tones that compliment the rest of the piece and the lighting is too strong just try to lower the opacity of that or try incorporating another focal that again compliment and matches the tones. but like i said well done and good for you for trying and always remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Maniak_uk 5,063 Posted July 17, 2013 Well its a start m8 and we all have to start somewhere ,i would have worked this side by side instead of on top each other, the idea is there just need more practise and better execution kai
 Awards

Kim 434 Posted July 17, 2013 Photo Manipulations are like signatures. You should work on your composition first, then blending, lighting, depth, & etc... Not bad for a first try, please Keep practicing! (=
