Tried out a bit of photo manipulation

The edges need a bit of work but you get the idea :P

did a small update for more shadowing/colouring

Nice work blending the images, but remember going into this that you're going to need blend the colours in. Not only with the two parts of wings, but you'll also need to blend with the woman. Nice work so far, you could do something really awesome with this. The contrast between dark and light is something great to explore.

Nice start but remember you are going to have shadows etc reflecting in to the wings kai

the different colours on the wings was deliberate though, i guess it didnt quite work out ;P

i wanted the outer wing feathers to be dark and then light underneath, much like an owl for example

 

but yes i think it needs something tying it all in together

a friend of mine from another forum made a similar observation and added a gold filter which looks quite nice:

the inside of the wings, left side should be darker. it would blend better Kiu nice work

Looking better ,getting there but feel it still needs to be alot darker inside kiu
