Bedroom (Cinema 4D) DONE!

Recommended Posts

098v

The bedroom that I had posted before is finally done with color, texture, and lighting to match and now I'm gonna start making a living room. This project took quite some time and thanks to the GreyScaleGorilla tutorial I had found that taught me some cool ways to texture and set-up hte lighting so it looks fitting. I had fixed up the lighting and background behind the window with some simple edits through PhotoShop. So what do you guys think of my most recent project, is it good and what do you think I could do to improve on it?

looks nice.  The lighting and textures are great.  My only complaint I guess would be the fabric.  Looks like those are some stiff blankets! lol.  Really great work though!

Thanks everyone for you comments.

As for Daedal's question this was an on and off project I had started in October, I believe, I had then put it off until December where I had done most of the rooms and then put it off again until the end of January/start of February, the textures took me a while as I couldn't find anything good so I had bought the GreyScaleGorilla texture pack and used their awesome textures. Took about an hour and twenty minutes for everything to render and I've put maybe about a weeks worth of work on it cause of school work, still in high school, and also working a job it was a little hard to find time.

Sounds like a lot of patience is needed. I have Blender and been thinking about giving it a shot before investing in one of the other 3d software. By the way, what are you using?

I use Cinema 4D for my work, I tried Blender and I didn't like it but that's just me Cinema 4D felt like it clicked with me, I might try and get back into Blender again but once I've fully learned the ins and outs of Cinema 4D
