Kill3r 56 Posted June 13, 2014 v1 v2 Took it two-three days to complete this one LOL This time i really worked hard and by looking at a ball somewhere on net,i made a sketch and then sketched it on illustrator and colored it :pixels: Please also tell which version is better
GOvectorZ 970 Posted June 13, 2014 Not too bad there K3 As i said, i'm not gonna get picky & point out lil bits that need sorting just yet as you know yourself what has to be improved on. Once you get a bit more competent with Illy, then i'll leave more feedback in way on comments but for now, your doing great I've actually done the Brazuca Ball Panel itself (just haven't released it), so may do a lil tut as to how i went about for ya Hopefully with others seeing your Illy stuff, it will inspire them to try it out to You know where i am if ya need any help with 'owt
Kill3r 56 Posted June 13, 2014 Thanks jimmy i will be looking forward for the tut LOL because only i know that how i made it :P
GOvectorZ 970 Posted June 13, 2014 V2 an improvement m8y. There are some areas (paths) that need smoothed out & some the widths adjusted on the strokes. Check the width tool out m8 (SHIFT + W) . Now to get a 3d look to it, you now need to experiment more with the gradient tool m8y & that is down to practice Shortcut key = G for the grad tool, soz i always use shortcuts for Illy lol For the inner details on the colored strokes, you'd wana use the blend tool for those m8 to get all those lil lines in them
Kill3r 56 Posted June 13, 2014 thanks jimmy will work with gradient tools more from now LOL actually those white lines were not included in my project, i just stroked the patch so that i can see what i have done and what is left
GOvectorZ 970 Posted June 13, 2014 Best advice i can give ya m8y regarding Illy is to focus on just one or two tools at a time until you get a proper feel of them
