Maniak_uk 5,063 Posted February 17, 2015 Not bad m8 you are getting there but just think its way to much in the border ,you want the focal to stand out in the piece and not be lost by the amount stuff on the border, good way of doing this is to cut pieces from the focal and use in the border that way it all begins to fit the theme also :'> kiu
 Awards
insanewaffles 92 Posted February 17, 2015 Much improved Xelo I like the general structure of your border, the BG in the second version fits the focal nicely, and you have some subtle effects happening which is pretty cool too. But I agree with MK about the border in essence its all pieces you put together but they should look like they belong there. Too little and it looks incomplete but too much and it looks thrown together. You are on the right path though KIU
SGTROCK 1,671 Posted February 18, 2015 The border is nice however it seems to take focus. In essence you have brightly coloured border and fx outside the border. Inside the border you have earth neutral tones and a similar choice in render (which looks quite good on its own), basically the eye will be drawn to colour or the border and extremities of this tag. With the next one try and reverse this as you want the focal to be the centre of attention. The border should be a bit like your text, in that it adds to the piece but is not the main focus.
