Medusa Complex

"It was said that Medusa was a mythological creature , a hideous woman who would turn onlookers to stone just by gazing at them.

I find however , humanity to have the same effect.Aren't we petrified when asked to perceive the reality? Aren't we  impotent at saving ourselves and the others around us?

Like souless stones.We look at other people just to judge them.Therefore ,It seems to me , that Medusa and people have so  much in common but only one difference.

Medusa was a mythological being, we on the other hand aren't.Humanity has become inhumane.Money and glory  have turned people into merciless Medusas who petrify the 

onlookers and onpassers.In my eyes , we are so... -eloquently expressionless-."

Kudos bro, this looks amazing. I have no complaints, only thing I'd do is actually finish the piece. This alone isn't attractive enough but it has great potential, adding that head to something, creating background with somewhat similar FX would really make it awesome.

 

Oh and one more thing, soft brush on the eyes is a bit too obvious you could blend that better.

Nice concept but think needs more work m8 ,the splatter on the head looks to big and most the arms/hands are behind in rather than actually coming out the head,the right side of the face is missing theres a straight cut of near the eye and think splatters should have come from the face rather than cut in to the face but kiu :'> m8
