SGTROCK 1,671 Posted November 3, 2015 For a novice not bad at all, how long have you been doing tags/ banners? First, I would have a look at some of the basics, the link below has some info in it about terms, but more importantly introduces concepts and has links to some useful tutorials that help you put them into practice. http://www.pimped-pixels.net/forum/topic/27140-gfx-basic-terms/ Would also spend some time having a look through tutorials and getting a feel for the tools in PS and what they do to use them to create the results your after. As for the Tags above the white text is quite large so is very distracting from the focal in each piece. Try to pick BG images that you dont have to enlarge to the point they become pixilated and look low quality (top 2 ) last appears to have better resolution and is a lot clearer. There are a lot of things to consider when constructing your art works such as lighting and blending, rule of thirds, composition etc , for now though would familiarise yourself with PS tools and concepts from the link above and work through some tutorials to start you getting a feel for the tools.
