Not sure how to use C4D's for fracticals, so this is all I could do. The size was also random.

YoYo

C4d use was successful.

Color tones are too 'harsh'

Could use some sharpening and blur.

Good job.

Mikey

For just starting out you are doing really well.  Don't be afraid to experiment using more color.  Try to pay attention to the lighting on your focal point.  As you go along, you'll get more familiar with the different filters and effects that are available to you in Photoshop as well as the different layer modes.  Keep it up, you're doing great.

Agree with Mikey, the only other thing I would add is compo, have a look at the rule of thirds when framing your image and positioning your focal, you can always crop your final image when you finished as well, like Mikey said experiment with your blend modes.

Typically your c4d comes on a black background, if it does mostly you will use lighten or screen blend modes, other images sush as textures ie cracks on a with a white background you might look at multiply.

Find some tutorials and and work though them, but experiment a little with settings a little paying attention to the how it changes the fx:)

About Us

Pimped Pixels was founded in 2010 by Maniak, Asura, Cliffbuck and Evilangel. Shortly afterwards Mikey jumped onboard and joined the team. We are a group of friends with a passion for art and a need to help others by sharing. The site started with just the four and in a short while grew to a community of over 4000 members. Everyone is welcome here, from complete beginners to all out professionals. We have something for everyone. Our aim is to give everyone with the "bug" a place to learn, make friends and share their passion.

Congratulations to iEatB4breakfast for winning this weeks SOTW
