Nice work, i would say try to learn shadows lights also. Because drawing is going realy well.. need to try give to it some life. KIU :<img src=:'> It's hard to learn this, i know, but after some time it will pay back realy good.

with light and shadow need to find some examples from the light,s did try making a shadow  on the hair  and the arms

about the clipping mask in illustrator is a patch where  inside of  patch way  becomes invisible 

I did try to clip those stripes onto the horns but did not work like in tutorial 

 

need to find a tutorial  how to  work with that 

 

I will try a  few more tutorial of this style before I advanced the more difficult one,s
