I think the noise is a cool idea. How much time did you spend figuring out exactly how much noise you were happy with? I feel like I would be like "too much... no, now too little" x100.

lol, not too long.  Image applied to a layer above, added the noise and played with opacity until happy with it.

i do like it but do have to agree the red it a little heavy on it for my taste.

something's a bit off, I think the contrast/sharpness combined is too high and it almost hurts to look at it.
