I am now focusing heavily on Photomanipulation, and I'm going to keep working hard on it. It's been a while since I've been on this site, and I'm glad now that I have more free time to do art. I'll keep on going. :<img src=:'>

Definite improvement since I last saw your work GG.  Quality of stock your using looks much better.  The thing that sticks out most for me with this one is the lighting and tones, the overall tones are different from the background (BG) to those on the three renders you have added in. The BG has a green hue to it whereas the renders are all in full light, even the women in the hollow of the tree, who should be in full shadow.    Liking the clarity though  KAI :)

Thanks for the wonderful feedback. Yea I finally started the path of actually using shutterstock. Now I can expand my creativity without having a hard time to find the right stock image. Thanks for pointing out the tone differences. I'll re-do the work, and re-upload it.

Definite improvement around the ape, just keep an eye on the skin tones though they need to still be consistent with actual skin tones.  Rather than applying a gent colour balance or GM across the whole piece, you may need to work on each render separately to get it to fit the environment the baby is more in full sun while the women in the hollow is in shadow so your adjusts on each will be totally different, once you have then in the correct light and tone etc withing the context of the piece then you add a general colour adjust or GM to tie it all together :)

About Us

Pimped Pixels was founded in 2010 by Maniak, Asura, Cliffbuck and Evilangel. Shortly afterwards Mikey jumped onboard and joined the team. We are a group of friends with a passion for art and a need to help others by sharing. The site started with just the four and in a short while grew to a community of over 4000 members. Everyone is welcome here, from complete beginners to all out professionals. We have something for everyone. Our aim is to give everyone with the "bug" a place to learn, make friends and share their passion.

Congratulations to iEatB4breakfast for winning this weeks SOTW
