I don't usually go into detail on people's work but I feel the need to here.  This is my take on this piece.

A futuristic society that has no human life left.  Taken over by our own technology.  A sparse world where even the trees seem to be made of a metal like material.  In the forefront, a hint of grass or plant life seems to prove that there is always hope of nature.  Maybe a little deep but this really moved me to think about this.
