Shadow 21 Posted March 6, 2011 Any comments/advice/feedback/ratings accepted This was an idea for a game cover image that I did for an old PS1 game that I used to own. Just ignore the "Created by Shadow" as part of it. That's just my watermark for the image so others don't claim it as their own somewhere else. Unless they were to change their name to Shadow as well.
Legit 8 Posted March 6, 2011 What am I looking at? Is the focal a dragon type thing? But thats besides the point good piece of work. Keep up the good work.
Shadow 21 Posted March 6, 2011 What am I looking at? Is the focal a dragon type thing? But thats besides the point good piece of work. Keep up the good work. My absolute main focus for this graphic was depth and flow. And when I created the two, I sort of made a 3D dimensional flow where the imaginary flow lines are directed towards the central character down through the reaver/sword, and the wings, and then in a "Z" dimension that seems to point down the hand and out of the image because of it's depth. I added burn and slight blur effects to enhance that. But what your looking at is a character from "Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver." The main character "Raziel" through the plot in the game's storyline who was ordered to the abyss in eternal damnation by Kain who he had served for a millennium in time, later seeking revenge against his rival. Here's the original piece I used. I was just practicing my flow and depth like I said:
