Love the eye coloration and the makeup on the face.... I would have gone a little different on the rest,, (gorgeous  looking woman btw)

the head piece although nice not sure i would use the same idea , i might have gone the way of a batwing duplicating reducing size maybe 10% each time and rotating till you got the same fill on her facing side and repeating on the other ( smaller pieces as it narrows off faster)  Blend in a gargoyle maybe in the middle.

the skin i would use may a nice fine ashy texture , like a burnt piece of wood and just warp the pieces to follow the curves and indents etc.

background i like the original ,, maybe try and get the same look adjust the color to get a firey brimstone look.  add a nice red glow behind it... so you can bounce off some reds to the horns side of the face etc

just thoughts on how i look at it of course....you are your own artist with your own interpretation.

Nicely done  ,for me its v1 but would be nice to see a version off the head dress in oranges/reds to tie in with the eyes  kiu
