Ghost of Christmas past

First piece in forever, went a little overboard with the effects on the colored version so it looks a bit low Q and blurry. BW is without the extra effects.

Nice to see you back , cant say much about the piece you havent already stated.  Some elements are of LQ .. find personally the smoke is just random.  Could have added more amber light , and heat bouncing off the torches as they are close to the wall. I would prob made the doorway neon a bit thinner and more precise. then reflected the glow a bit more . maybe toned down a bit what was actually on the other side for more depth ,   Maybe made the path a bit darker , and then reflect the glow off it and the curve in the arch.  The shadow think could use a bit more work off the skeleton.. I like the concept ..   I know your rusty , so all forgive you this time .... lol j/k   I do love the archway ,, nice piece to start from...

Great piece to come back with. Everything seems well blended together. Keep it up.

Yeah, I get the points. Takes a while to get used to things again.

Updated version(added noise, hence the dark corners seem LQ, and also skeleton is a bit weird render to work with, hard to shadow and etc:

better version ... and yes the skeleton , looks like it would be a pain to add base, ambient and light shadows..   nice piece.
