4 years away from photoshop, but suddenly I got inspired. Spending most of my time in lightroom just doing photographs. But here I am doing a photoshop piece.

If you don't mind I'll comment here for both artworks you posted, the concepts are great and you definitely have a good eye for composition, which will help you out a lot once your technique improves

I won't tell you what to do on your pieces as it's important you find your own style and work with that by yourself, end of the day you are the one who needs to be the happiest about the final work!

However if you don't mind I'll tell you a couple of "must not do" rules that you should follow if you want details to pop up more in your pieces:

- Avoid blacks.. make sure you reduce your blacks, you want to blend stuff matching colours and tones, not hiding with black. It's something we all do early on as it simplifies the workflow, however the final result looks "fake" as true black does not exist in nature (I mean, yeah, they managed to recreate it in the past decade, but you know what I mean lol)

- Careful with the lights.. they burn easily, especially if you have a lot of.. well.. black! Ahah

Keep up the good work, you have a lot of potential, can't wait to see more 💪

About Us

Pimped Pixels was founded in 2010 by Maniak, Asura, Cliffbuck and Evilangel. Shortly afterwards Mikey jumped onboard and joined the team. We are a group of friends with a passion for art and a need to help others by sharing. The site started with just the four and in a short while grew to a community of over 4000 members. Everyone is welcome here, from complete beginners to all out professionals. We have something for everyone. Our aim is to give everyone with the "bug" a place to learn, make friends and share their passion.

Congratulations to iEatB4breakfast for winning this weeks SOTW
