HansenGFX 0 Posted April 3, 2011 If anyone knows how to add an image to the middle disc and make it spin along with the disc some help would be nice
Guest TheMarine™ Posted April 3, 2011 nice m8 , i see you figured out how , i see your animation in the 2nd one has a prob , the center image ( looks like u used disc , should try a tube without inner radius) is stucking somewhere , u just have to correct your rotation. also i wouldnt add shadows when comes to avatars, but nice KIU

Fox 47 Posted April 21, 2011 ^I think it's Cinema 4D - not sure if Photoshop can do 3D animation like that - I know it can edit 3D - like texturing and such, but unsure of full on animation. I've been trying to figure out how to do one of these myself..saw a tut on Youtube, but mine never came out right, lol - it ended up all herky-jerky - and I followed him word for word, so I don't know what went wrong. I definitely like your's, though. Kinda small for my tastes, but it's not bad for a first couple of tries . Definitely better than my fail attempts. :P. ANIKI 5 Posted April 24, 2011 Nice,I remember when I started and yeah, it is made on Cinema 4D, save as a Quicktime Movie, make sure the size is set to 15x150, zoom in as much as possible to the image, so it does not come out small. Use the tube to add an image, make sure to turn it 360 degrees on B coordinates. This way your middle image spins and lands back to the front starting face, I find it annoying to have the avatar spin again fast so I always add 3 sec of waiting time until it starts to move again, it is best if you can find Tutorials by DesiChiko I think it was his username on SR. Those show the basic, materials are a pain to work with, for me that is :P . If you have questions feel free to PM me, Keep It Up. This is Desi Chicos 3D Spinning Avatar made for Cinema 4D program, wanted to link it incase any one wanted it, ENJOY and props to him, I used it when I first started making them. .: Part 01 :. .: Part 02 :. .: Part 03 :. Note- He did thistutorial on the older version of C4D, so the windows and some things are a bit different.
