Halo Reach Senior Exit Project.

Whiplash™

My Senior Exit is in a couple of weeks, so I've prepared by playing the campaign of Reach and have taken snapshots of things that look cool (currently on mission 4/9 D:) and plan to manipulate them as my project.

What I really want to be is a Photographer (regardless of the level of competition in that particular field.)

Anyways, here's some of the shots I've taken. I've manipulated them so that the quality would look better. I plan on manipulating them more (I won't start until I get every snapshot in each campaign level.)

Picture 3 is a good shot with great quality; I also like pic 5. You should be able to get something good out of either of those two in particular IMO.

Good work. :)

If anyone wishes to know how I got these to look as they are, here's how I did it:

I took the first layer and used a Smart Sharpen filter using 100% and 1.0 as my settings. I then proceeded to duplicate the layer twice (three layers.) I used a Diffuse Glow on the second one and had the Grain setting at 0, and the Clarity at 10/20 and screwed with the middle setting. I then used a Diffuse with an Anisotropic diffuse and had that set to Darken at 100%, with layer 2 set to Screen at 100%. I then took layer 3 and used a Smart Sharpen filter with the same settings and Vuala!

About Us

Pimped Pixels was founded in 2010 by Maniak, Asura, Cliffbuck and Evilangel. Shortly afterwards Mikey jumped onboard and joined the team. We are a group of friends with a passion for art and a need to help others by sharing. The site started with just the four and in a short while grew to a community of over 4000 members. Everyone is welcome here, from complete beginners to all out professionals. We have something for everyone. Our aim is to give everyone with the "bug" a place to learn, make friends and share their passion.

Congratulations to iEatB4breakfast for winning this weeks SOTW
