This is my entry for the "Pick A Word Contest" on dA. I've never ever done such a dark art before, I tried to make him as scary as possible. Hope you all like it. :curtsey:

Only thing that I don't like is the scythe is WAY to small. Reapers always have some huge haunting scythe that would make you quiver in it's shadow. I think the clouds look a little LQ compared to the over all image but beyond that it's very nice!

Hot damn. Seeing all the separate pieces coming together so well is cool. If you hadn't linked the pieces, I would have thought it was all one big background with the wraith put in there.

My only criticism is the cross. I kind of feel like it's a bit random, since there is only one. But then again, in the wild, people are buried alone, so if you were to happen across a burial site in the wild, it probably wouldn't be a community or family grave.

Nice piece Kim, although the little bit of color being the smoke coming from the horse and being red kind of distracts from the reaper. If you wanted color, maybe you could have done a saturation kind of art, where it has color but very slightly. (The whole piece)

Other than that, nice blending, depth, composition, and awesome focal. Shoot reaper, best be looking another way, having a great wonderful long life! Maybe a hundred years from now. Lol~! :P

Reminds me of the Lord of the Rings...

I really like it Kim, I think with some firish effects around the reaper or the horse could make the piece look cooler, something like THIS taking it to your piece, don't get my wrong I like it the way it is. :)

About Us

Pimped Pixels was founded in 2010 by Maniak, Asura, Cliffbuck and Evilangel. Shortly afterwards Mikey jumped onboard and joined the team. We are a group of friends with a passion for art and a need to help others by sharing. The site started with just the four and in a short while grew to a community of over 4000 members. Everyone is welcome here, from complete beginners to all out professionals. We have something for everyone. Our aim is to give everyone with the "bug" a place to learn, make friends and share their passion.

Congratulations to iEatB4breakfast for winning this weeks SOTW
